Changes to Propeller Service Process: A Letter from Mark
Hey friends,
I've been working towards slowing down a bit and have established a relationship with Admiral Propeller in Tampa. I'm staying in the business but spending more time in supervision and working on new products for the Razor line. Admiral has invested in adding an all-new, high-performance shop for me. This will augment their regular repair business. I'll be both training and supervising to make sure that we grow the next generation of top-level prop technicians, and will be travelling to Tampa regularly for monitoring.
Beginning January 1, 2025, please send your repairs to:
Razor Performance Props 6233 South Manhattan Avenue Tampa, FL 33616For high performance tuning, continue to send to the current address unil further notice. We are working on also transitioning this service to Tampa, but for now I will be reviewing the tuning requirements with customers prior to sending the prop on to my technicians. After completing the requested work, we will review the readings to make sure we are on the same page. Then the prop will be shipped directly back to you. There is no extra charge for the double freight expense; we are absorbing this as part of our tech training. Note, however, that it will take a bit longer to receive your completed prop.
I also worked with PowerTech to build a new, digitally re-mastered racing gauge set for pitch and rake. I have used it for a year now, and it is awesome. Admiral is also using the new equipment in their prop tuning process.
We have a new process for our Razor products that produces higher accuracies than we have ever been able to achieve. Everything is being re-tooled, and I will have new products like a Razor F4, a tweaked version of the Fury 4. The steel will be a ductile stainless to give you the kind of toughness and long-term endurance you need.
As always, thanks for your trust in me over the years. The propeller world has been such a blessing to me and has exceeded all of my dreams.
Thank you for making it possible. Mark
P.S. Please note that the shop will be temporarily closed December 9–17, 2024.
